Tipped Her On The Looks Of Her Ass

     I went to our local restaurant tonight to pick up dinner tonight. It was the type of restaurant where they run your food out to you after calling in your order on the phone. It’s fast, it’s easy, and you get the dinner without having to eat there. You can eat it in your own house.

     That’s what makes Applebee’s so convenient.

     As I sat and waited for my turn in the parking spaces provided for the drivers, I had the luxury of watching the one chick running food and money back and forth, in and out of the restaurant. Then I noticed something. Her ass.

     She had a pair of pants on that accentuated her ass. Tight, low-cut jeans that gripped her buns and kept it looking firm and fit.

     I watched her as she ran to and fro. Then it was my turn. She handed my food to me, I paid her, and I think I tipped her more for her ass than I was going to tip her.

     Which makes me ask this, do these women wear these types of clothes to haul in more in tips?

     I live in Michigan. It just snowed seven inches last night and today. It’s cold out. So us Michiganders don’t have the luxury of year-round, scantily clothed people. She was not wearing shorts, or a bikini, or a pair of spandex. These were just jeans.

     Do people tip these waiters and waitresses for how they look? What if she was ugly? What if she was a lardass? What if she had a horrible body? What if she had a nasty attitude?

     What if she was wearing a see-through shirt, where her nipples were busting through just enough to make one question if they saw what they think they saw? What if she had pants on to show cameltoe? What if she was flirty?

     Would I have tipped her any different for any of the above reasons? Maybe. Maybe not. How about you? What do you think?


Ok. Yeah. NOW It Decides To Snow!?!?!


     I want to start out saying that I absolutely love the winter and I love all that comes with it…cold weather, really cold weather, snow, getting cozy with my wife under the blankets, snow, and the cold weather.

     Did I mention snow and cold weather? I would rather it be cold outside than it be 100 degrees, 100% humidity, and being just plain miserable.The heat sucks! You can never take off ALL your clothes to get comfortable, but in the winter, you can always layer up.

     I speak like this because I work outside, all year long. Winter, spring, summer and fall. I am never inside doing work at a desk. My office is a truck, with a trailer and a Ditch Witch. The truck is complete with heat in the winter and ZERO air conditioning in the summer. The company I work at has the air removed from all it’s fleet vehicles. But this is another story.

     But I am gonna bitch, just a little bit right now. It’s snowing is ass off right now out side my window. I am bitching because I have been off from work for the last 10 days recovering from my vasectomy surgery. I have to go back to work tomorrow.

     In this weather!!

     It didn’t snow hardly at all the past week and a half, but now it decides to snow?!?!? Before I have to go back? This is crap!! I am gonna have one hell of a commute tomorrow morning, my first day back.

     Why could it not have snowed LAST night? Not now and into the night! We are expected to get 6-9 inches of the stuff.

     Oh well. I gotta get back into the daily grind some how. I guess this is a crash course.

    Oh great!! I said “crash”! I hope I get to and from work OK in the traffic. I hate superstitions.

Company Playing Mind Games With Union

     The company I currently work for is keeping some very important information away from the union. Information that may be a life or death thing, and the union does not like it at all.

     As I have stated before in my previous post Union and Company Need a Culture Change, either side believes the other and there is absolutely no trust among the two.

     At our headquarters about a month ago, a union employee had been reprimanded for some activity that the company did not see reasonable. Here is where the shit starts to hit the fan, because the union employees want answers that the company is not giving.

     Rumors, in a workplace like this, are being spread to everyone to and from every direction, and nobody knows exactly what to believe.

     Because of this fact with the rumors, and the fact, that this morning, a statement was read from the head supervisor of the building, no questions were answered. All this head supervisor read to us was that anybody who sees the said employee on the premises is to report the sighting to their field leaders or to the company security immediately.

     Questions about this employee’s firing, discharge, quitting, sick time off, vacation or assault on a supervisor went unanswered. The union members have no clue of what is going on and neither do some of the company employees.

     We all feel that some bit of information for the safety of everyone is not too much to ask. But it seems that the company wants to keep mum on the subject and will take the chance that nothing bad will happen.

     But what if something bad does happen? What if this said employee is dangerous, like rumored, and the company is not telling?

     Will the company be willing to pay out on lawsuits? Because there will be plenty coming their way.

     Is this said individual a threat? Did this person make a bodily threat to a supervisor and is the company keeping this secret?

    If so, why is there a big secret? Is it because of the pending lawsuit from this individual against the company? Does the company really find it necessary to keep hush any kind of information that may make employees feel more at ease, or does the company like to play head games with it’s employees?

     Whatever the reason, everyone who is out of the loop on this, feels the tension in the air and it really is unfair.

     Isn’t it the responsibility of the company to keep everyone safe?

Union and Company Need a Culture Change

     I work at a place where the relationship between management and the union members is strained, but tolerable, barely. The company is not centered in one place, it is scattered over a large area. OK, across the state.

     There are dozens of little offices where people are assigned to work from and report to daily. At these buildings is where the union members and the company people gather and mingle. Mingle is used loosely because all the union get along with the supervisors and field leaders, but only because everyone wants peace. But deep down, seated inside every single person, is a distrust for the other side.

     The union members do not trust the company people because the union feels the company is out to get them. There is a feeling that someone may get fired for doing the wrong thing, having an accident of some kind, or saying the wrong thing to someone.

     The union members are also irritated with their own union leadership because the members feel the leaders are “in bed” with the company.

     When members want to file grievances, the union stewards either blow off the request, forget to file it, or won’t fight hard enough, which all results in victories for the company and gives the company an even stronger grip on the union.

     The company has the union, at many locals, by the balls. These local unions can’t move, are intimidated and just simply give in. Some members are talking of finding out if they can stop paying their dues and fight their own battles against the company or grievances because the members feel the results would be the same.

     The supervisors at this company deal with each individual person on different levels. They do not treat the members the same when it comes to discipline or problems that are brought by the workers to the supervisors. The supervisors have their favorites and their non-favorites when it comes to their workers. So when things happen, there is not a blanket way of dealing with them.

     When this happens, problems form, there is a trust issue that is installed in the workforce, and then more problems rise from this. Union members feel that some members are treated like royalty while others are treated like paupers.

     Union members feel the company has a secret list of members, the ‘A’ list and the ‘shit’ list, in which the supervision goes by when it comes to dealing with fixing problems, giving daily assignments, or handing out discipline.

     Something has happened to this company that will cost it’s workers and union members millions of dollars in the court of law. I just wonder if the company is smart enough to learn from this, or if they are going to fight it. If they win, will everything go back to how it is? Or will there finally be some kind of culture change in the entire workforce?

     I realize it has to be a two-sided effort with the company and the union, and even the old timers need to try, but will they?

Just Some Things Running Through My Mind

     Michigan State Spartans are going to run all over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday. Fatso Charlie Weiss thinks his leg is is his only problem? Wait until halftime. The guy is gonna be sweating profusely!

     Autumn is finally here. Colors are not changing just yet, but the chill in the air is gonna be here until next May. I used to not like the heat of the sun and cool air, but this year it is quite enjoyable. I don’t know why.

     The Detroit Lions should just pack it in this season. I have a funny feeling they are not gonna win a game. Everyone thought Miami Dolphins were bad last year. Just keep an eye on the Lions.

     I am dead tired. I tried to re-do something on this blog and now I am writing when I should be in bed. And I wonder why I can’t fall asleep on Sunday nights. At least I can snooze a little while riding around in the truck at work on Monday.

My Story…An FYI For Readers

     I have renamed my earlier posts to help readers follow My Story a little better. I had different names for these posts, but I realized that they are hard to find, and if the My Story posts seem strange or if someone is lost, I hope that by renaming the earlier ones will help fill in any holes or answer questions.

     My Story begins with the post “My Story…Part 1” and continues from there. I wish there was a way I could group them all together, but I can’t. Or I don’t know how. I am kinda computer handicapped.

     Thank you for the time spent reading my posts, and thank you for looking back into the beginnings of these. I hope this helps with My Story.

On My 4th Coors Light Tonight

     Just some things I wanna bring up as I have a good buzz going. Kind of a way to say I have my beer brains going, as opposed to beer muscles, beer goggles, or whiskey dick.

     First of all, my wife wasn’t to happy about the Drew Barrymore post from last nigh. She is jealous. Just as I would be if she wrote one about Freddie Prinze, Jr.

     I have been playing the hell out of Aerosmith Guitar hero! That is so totally cool! There are Aerosmith songs on there I have forgotten about. Those songs bring me back to hearing them when I was a kid. “Kings and Queens” for instance. What a surprise that was! It’s fun playing Guitar Hero on a good buzz.

     Why is there always a battle between men and women over whether the air conditioner should be on or not. I work outside. She works inside in air conditioning. I wanna be comfortable and cool and free of humidity. She wants to “warm up”?!?! Total ridicularity!!! (‘Ridicularity’ is my word, I made it up years ago. Never heard anyone else use it, keep it that way!)

     Why do people have to have a smoke when they drink? I need one right now, but I am trying to hold off until I am done writing this. Marlboro Milds. Wife smokes Marlboro Lights. Those have no taste. At least mine have a little flavor.

     I have to lose a little weight and go to the doctor, as ordered by my wife. She is right. I don’t wanna be a fat pig, nor do I want to be caught off guard by having something wrong and find out when it’s too late. So I am making an appointment for a physical very soon.

     My sister is coming up from Florida in a few weeks and she is bringing her daughters! High five! It’s about time she is coming here during the summer so our kids can hang out. I am looking forward to that time. It’s gonna be alot of fun.

     I think it’s hot to rub in moisturizer into my wife’s body like I just did. Although it actually was some kind of fake tanning stuff to give her color. She only gets sun on weekends and then “whitens up” all week while indoors at work. She just yelled at the dog to stop licking it off her leg. Maybe that’s why the dog’s poops have been different colors lately. The dog has tanned turds!

     Just went outside and had a smoke. Couldn’t wait.

     I am restoring a ’72 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It’s in “pieces” in the garage. It’s really gonna be the cat’s ass when I finish it. Expected year of completion? 2012 when it will be 40 years old. Will that happen? I sure as heck hope!!

     I have a friend who plays in a band. He has played for over a year at various bars around the area and I have yet to go. He is mad at me for not going. I can tell because he has not returned my calls or answered any of my texts. There is no need to be that way. I have stuff going on. Sorry I’m not a groupie like I was back in the day when I had free time.

     It’s raining and thundering and lightning it’s ass off outside all night. I love it! We have been getting frequent rain. I believe we are in a weather pattern that used to bring us all the snow we got this past winter. It’s all good. The lakes could really use the water.

     Well I am done here. Beer bottle is empty too. Back to the tv to blow the roof off this place with more Aerosmith Guitar Hero. And another cold Coors Light. It’s cool how the labels turn blue when cold. Cool idea.
